More Good Food
Listen for CoWineCo on KCRW's Good Food with Evan Kleiman on Saturday, December 22nd (or the Saturday after, not sure yet), where Jennifer will be discussing holiday bubblies, and maybe some obscure mushroom that only grows on the bottom of school desks in the Malasia. You never know where that show is going to go.

Paper Tiger
The Eagle Rock business community is growing! We'd like to welcome our newest neighbor, Paper., specializing in letterpress, gift cards and fine wrapping paper. They're located just two doors west of us at 2120 Colorado Blvd., in the former F*art location (I realize that's a strange sentence). Paper also has a reading room in back with all kinds of gift and coffee table books for the holidays. And yes, they offer gift wrapping services for the folding-challenged, like myself.

The Meters It's Christmas shopping time and you're running around and it hits you that you have no change for the meter and suddenly that one last stop seems just too annoying to deal with. Well, from now through Christmas Eve, let CoWineCo cover the meter for you. There will be a jar of dimes at the front desk for your meter-feeding needs. Ho ho ho.

Regular Wine Tasting Schedule
*** We hold tastings twice a week on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons , and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays the bar is open for wines by the glass . Please see our calendar for details on any given day: www.cowineco.com/calendar ***
Wine Tasting: National Chewing Gum Day! Friday the 7th 5:30-8:30pm (wines by the glass available from 8:30 to 11pm) $15/person 5 wines and gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's Marketplace Please RSVP to: info@cowineco.com or (323) 478-1985 See, there is always something to celebrate, no matter what day it is. Today is National Gum Day in the Phillipines where thousands fill the streets to participate in parades where the floats are made from.....you guessed it....gum. Already chewed I'm guessing. I'd hate to be 500 feet tall and accidentally step in that parade. wines Villa Wolf Pinot Gris, Germany (2nd White TBD) Saint Cosme Little James' Basket Press Grenache, France Adelaida Recess Red, Paso Robles, California McManis Syrah, California
Lazy Sunday Tasting Sunday the 9th 1-4pm $12/person 4 wines and gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's Marketplace Our Sunday tastings will now feature slightly higher-end wine selections. Our Friday tastings get a little too loud to discuss the wines in great detail (we're not complaining), so if wine knowledge is your grail, Sundays are the best tastings for you. Call or email Sunday for selections. (323) 478-1985 or info@cowineco.com

The Poll Booth - Christmas Movie Smackdown
Ok, so in the last poll, you resoundingly would prefer three $30 bottles over the other options (we agree...that's the sweetspot). Here was the breakdown: 22% wanted one truly fantastic $100 bottle, 7% wanted twelve $8 bottles, 24% wanted two $50 bottles, 46% of you wanted three $30 bottles, and 2% of you wanted two hundred .50 cent bottles. The next poll has nothing to do with wine. We just want to pit some of the great traditional Christmas movies against each other and see which one wins with our customers. I'm not sure what that will tell us, but at least we'll crown a winner. And Christmas really IS all about competition after all. Is it Christmas Vacation? It's a Wonderful Life? A lively Tim Allen vehicle? Vote here ----> www.cowineco.com
