Excuse the extremely brief newsletter, but we had to sneak an extra mailing in to let you know about the fancy stuff on our walls. We are proud to have art AND furniture from local design team BUGHOUSE in our shop for the coming months and tomorrow, Saturday the 1st, is the art opening. BUGHOUSE is Jeff Klarin and Rebecca Johnson, two fine people who have been creating gorgeous, quirky, pop pieces from their homebase in lovely Eagle Rock for over 10 years. Even before the opening tomorrow, this has already been one of the most successful art installations at CoWineCo since we opened the doors five years ago. People see their stuff on our walls and are immediately drawn to them (which is saying a lot since they're ignoring wine on the way), but it's the detail you can't catch from afar that really makes you realize how talented these folks are. We demand you join us for the opening or don the dunce cap in the corner. BUGHOUSE art opening Tomorrow! Saturday, May 1st 5 - 7 pm @ Colorado Wine Company 2114 Colorado Blvd. / LA, CA 90041 Complimentary artisanal cheeses from Auntie Em's Wines-by-the-glass ranging from $5 - $15

And in August, we just confirmed that Kent Humphrey, winemaker for Eric Kent Wines will be joining us to pour his Fall lineup 1 month before they're available anywhere else! Mmmm...Stiling Pinot....

It's That Time Again The peach trees are budding in the backyard....hordes of you know what that means @ CoWineCo but if you don't, you should probably come by on Saturday, May 8th to find out. Or any Saturday thereafter until September. I'll give you a hint....it rhymes with flangria and involves mint, cinnamon, peaches, bubbly and secrets. Mmmmm.....the forbidden taste of secrets.

REGULAR WINE TASTING SCHEDULE
Friday Wine Tasting: Children's Day, But With Wine...Not Children TONIGHT! Friday, April 30TH 5:30 - 8:30 pm $15/person for 5 wines + artisanal cheeses from Auntie Em's So, today is Children's Day in Mexico which is cool and all, but why not celebrate 5 really fantastic wines for $15 instead? We can call it Children's Day too if you want, but instead of celebrating children, we're celebrating the communion of wine and your tummy. That works. So, all new wines tonight but 1. The Cordon Syrah we've stocked once before and is back by popular demand. The rest are all freshmen...newbies...green...kids....children (ahhhh, a call back). I could describe them all but really, would that help? They're all great and this is still the best bang-for-your-buck wine tasting in Los Angeles. wines Alois Lageder Pinot Grigio 2008, Alto Adige, Italy Slingshot Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Napa Valley, California Ampelos Rose 2009, Santa Ynez Valley, California Cordon White Hawk Vineyard Syrah, California Hocus Pocus Syrah 2008, Santa Barbara, California *brand new vintage
