Today in 1948, Marivn the Martian made his first appearance in Haredevil Hare  and I don't know about you but we spent many, many, many hours camped six inches from the tube watching these guys every Saturday morning. 

Bugs: Eh, pardon me again, Doc, but, uh, just what did you mean by that crack about the Earth being gone?
Marvin the Martian: Oh, I'm going to blow it up; it obstructs my view of Venus.
Bugs: It does? That's a shame.

Genius...pure genius.

Anyway, for the Mirth Chard and the new vintage of La Grange Cotes du Rhone alone, this is one of the best Friday tastings of the year.
